Post Course Halloween Party

Curtis has invited each of us to bring spouse and family to come and enjoy his spook alley and haunted yard this Friday, October 12, from 7 – 9pm. This will be an open house style gathering where we can enjoy the spook alley and each other’s company. It is rumored that the ice cream machine will be fully operational!

I hope to see everyone there!

Gary Wood Receives District Award of Merit

Congratulations to Gary Wood who received Farmington Bay Districts Award of Merit tonight!  It was a nice ceremony and a fun way to meet a fellow staffer.

Congratulations to Course Director Curtis Goble as well.  It was announced tonight that he is one of 3 receipients of the Silver Beaver award from District 1 on March 6, 2012!

The decorations for our staff have just begun!

Thanks to Curtis and Gary for their hard work in their positions.

Thanks to each of you for your dedication and concern for our Scouts and their leaders.  We will help our participants become better leaders and role models changing for better the lives of their Scouts.

Woodbadge changes lives by making maximum positive impact.

PS~
Our thoughts and prayers are with Curtis for a speedy recovery on his knee recovery.

Woodbadge with Curtis!

Welcome Staff & Participants!

Let me be the first to welcome you to our Woodbadge course.  Our course will run August 23 - 25 and Aug 30 - Sep 1, 2012 with at least one patrol meeting over the break.  Later posts will present our staff and autobiographies from them.

We will learn how to be better leaders and how to train our Scouts how to be effective leaders as well.  We do it for the guys like him
 It's all about the boy.
